The Clog Market is held monthly in The Town Square, Rawtenstall. It is becoming more and popular each month and last Sunday’s event was a huge success.
The next Clog Market takes place over the Bank Holiday weekend at the end of the month and it promises to be something special.
The Dig For Victory event on Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 May will see our friends at Rawtenstall Farmers’ Market and The Artisan – Rawtenstall on the Town Square, as part of the 1940’s weekend. On the Saturday there will be 40’s style music, dancing, food and drink plus a vintage market from 10am onwards. On the Sunday, the usual Farmers’ Market will be selling fresh produce and artisan makers’ products will be available, alongside fabulous hot food traders and drink – including a licensed bar.
There is also some great entertainment planned and it’s going to be another fun day with live history and military vehicles. This is a family event, so arrange to meet your friends and family on the town square for a fantastic family day out!
You can dance, browse or sit and watch. It would be great to see people in 40’s style attire – fashion on the ration!
