The staff at Kingfisher Business Centre, Rawtenstall are always keen to do their bit for charity. This year’s Comic Relief on Friday 24th March was no exception. In fact, this time we were even prepared to take it on the chin for charity!
Nicola, Andy and Claire from the Kingfisher team were dressed as clowns for the day and held a special event to raise money for Comic Relief. The three collected donations and in return they were more than happy for donators to ‘pie’ them.
As well as the clowning around and pie-ing, the team also held a cake sale in reception on the day, and red noses were sold in reception in the days running up to the big day. The office tenants based at Kingfisher, made generous donations and raised over £200 for Red Nose Day. Everyone seemed to enjoy themselves

It’s fantastic to see the Kingfisher team continuing with their commitment to charity fundraising.
The converted mill in the centre of Rawtenstall is owned by B & E Boys Ltd and has serviced offices for companies in the North West. Company Director, Michael Boys added, “The companies based at Kingfisher have been very generous with their donations to Comic Relief.”
