Townfield Care expands home care service into Rawtenstall
Townfield Care, a long-established family company with a fine track record in care for the elderly is set to significantly expand its home care service, creating up to 40 new jobs in the Rossendale area. Townfield Care which has been awarded the Lancashire County Council Contract for providing home care and support to people throughout Rossendale, Hyndburn & The Ribble Valley.
Townfield Care has just opened an office in the Kingfisher Building on Burnley Road in the centre of Rawtenstall and has already started to build up work in the local area.
Founded in 1990 by Maria Timmins, the company is now jointly run by her sons, Michael and John Timmins, backed up by a dedicated team of care professionals. Together Michael and John have continued the tradition of personalised care to ensure the best possible quality of life.
Townfield provides a home care service, offering a comprehensive range of tailor-made support packages to help people remain in their own homes for longer. Over the years this service has spread throughout Hyndburn and into Ribble Valley and Rossendale, and it is in this area of care provision that Townfield is now expanding to meet a fast growing demand.
“People are living longer, but quite understandably want to stay living comfortably in their own homes,” added John Timmins.
